Position: Speech Therapy Assistant - Spring, TX
A full-time, onsite role is available for a Texas Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support speech-language services in a school setting through the end of the  academic year. This opportunity is based in Spring, TX, specifically serving a school in the Southwest Houston area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver school-based speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Provide direct support for students requiring speech-language assistance.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to implement individualized speech therapy plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with district policies and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active Texas SLPA licensure (fully licensed; no intern status or clinical hours required).
  • Previous school-based speech-language experience preferred.
  • Proven reliability with punctuality and proactive communication skills.
  • Ability to provide reliable transportation for onsite work within the Southwest Houston area.
  • Willingness to complete and fund mandatory fingerprinting and background checks promptly upon contract signing.
  • Familiarity with school systems and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic educational environment.
Location:
  • This position is located onsite at a school in the Southwest Houston area, requiring daily presence during school hours.
  • No remote or virtual work options are available for this role.
Additional Details:
  • Contract duration extends through June 4, 2026.
  • The role involves working directly in the school environment to backfill a current vacancy.
  • Virtual interviews will be coordinated for qualified candidates.
