Job Description – Ultrasound Technologist (Vascular)
Location:
Houston, TX (Multiple Clinic Sites)
Shift:Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Type:Contract (Non-IT Clinical)
CertificationRequired:
RVT or RVS and BLS
Key Responsibilities- Perform vascular ultrasound exams accurately and efficiently for cardiology services.
- Conduct venous and/or arterial studies based on patient needs.
- Participate in Vein Clinic therapeutic procedures when required.
- Support patient comfort, safety, and education during the ultrasound process.
- Education: High School/GED (minimum).
- Certifications: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience: At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in vascular ultrasound.
- At least 1 year of cumulative experience specifically in venous sonography.
