Internal Audit​/Controls Analyst

LGI Homes is seeking an Internal Controls Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.

The Internal Controls Analyst will serve a pivotal role in the completion of the Internal Controls’ Plan for assigned process cycles and tasks. The Internal Controls Analyst will be responsible for supporting and testing the Internal Controls Framework for LGI Homes.

The Internal Controls Analyst will assist with task completion in accordance with the Internal Controls Plan, including but not limited to internal controls testing, third-party controls assessment, and data management within the internal controls platform. This role will assist with the analysis of findings and the determination of sufficient controls coverage within the LGI’s controls framework.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 1 year of experience in external or internal audit, preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Workiva, SQL, and accounting systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with vigorous attention to detail.
• An ability to prioritize workload, work effectively on concurrent tasks, and meet deadlines is key.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude, who is proactive and resourceful.
