The ideal candidate will bring strong corporate finance experience with deep expertise in data analysis, budgeting, reporting, and financial operations within complex corporate environments. This role requires excellent technical skills—especially in Excel and Power BI—and the ability to present financial insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Purchase Orders (POs) end-to-end, including creation, tracking, updates, and closure.
- Oversee expense management, including tracking actuals, conducting variance analysis versus budget, and preparing clear, concise reports for leadership.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports and insights to senior management in recurring business reviews and ad‑hoc presentations.
- Support headcount tracking, including cost modeling, forecasting, and reconciliation with HR and business data.
- Execute month-end and quarter-end accruals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with accounting policies.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles with strong analytical rigor.
- Perform data-driven financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making and operational improvements.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Excel and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Procurement, HR, and Business Operations.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling, formulas, macros preferred).
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to automate reporting and provide real‑time financial insights.
- (Nice to Have) Experience using Data Analytics and AI‑driven tools to enhance forecasting, reporting, or data automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 3–6+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role in a corporate environment (preferably mid‑to‑large companies).
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate financial data to senior leadership.
- Exceptional proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Purchase Order management
- Expense tracking & variance analysis
- Headcount & cost tracking
- Month‑end/quarter‑end accruals
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Experience working in a complex corporate environment (as opposed to investment banking or small organizations).
