About this Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of purchasing and subcontracting for high-value infrastructure projects. You’ll handle everything from RFP development and bid evaluation to contract execution and material delivery
, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Onsite: M-F 10000 Energy Drive, Spring TX 77389 or at 15011 Katy Freeway, Houston TX 77094 This role involves domestic travel up to 50% to project sites, giving you hands-on exposure to T&D, substation, and infrastructure projects while supporting EPC teams directly.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with Project and Procurement Managers to develop bidder lists, issue RFPs, and coordinate technical reviews with EPC engineering teams
  • Evaluate proposals for compliance with commercial terms, corporate standards, and diversity goals; negotiate contracts and recommend awards
  • Maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships, resolve performance issues, and manage procurement risks including delays, scope gaps, and pricing discrepancies
  • Track procurement progress, validate materials from drawings, and resolve OS&D issues with construction and logistics teams
  • Ensure all procurement activities meet compliance, safety, and documentation standards
What You'll Bring
  • 4+ years of procurement experience in engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) environments
  • Proven experience managing RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and material logistics
  • Supplier prequalification, submittal tracking, and expediting experience on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
