About Submer

Submer enables organizations scaling AI to overcome the limits of traditional datacenters across power, compute density and efficiency.

We design and deliver scalable, high‑density AI datacenter infrastructure built around industry‑leading liquid cooling, supporting everything from early AI deployments to full‑scale production environments.

Acting as a full‑stack delivery partner, Submer provides advisory, design, build and IT integration through a single point of accountability, working with a deep ecosystem of technology specialists. This end‑to‑end approach accelerates time‑to‑AI while reducing operational cost, complexity and environmental impact.

The result is AI infrastructure that performs today, scales predictably and avoids the redesigns and inefficiencies slowing the market down.

What impact you will have

Bigcat Pass is the new generation of Submer’s ultra‑high‑density cooling racks, capable of cooling extreme density IT load per rack, combining multiple cooling technologies.

Your work will directly enable the company’s ability to deploy next‑generation, ultra‑dense AI infrastructure at scale.

What you’ll do
  • Own the approved delivery plan for Bigcat Pass racks (first‑generation platforms variants and follow‑on releases).
  • Translate the high‑level plan into detailed, executable project schedules with clear deliverables, owners and deadlines across Mechanical, Thermal/CFD, Electrical, Controls/Firmware, Industrialization, Quality and Supply Chain.
  • Establish and run appropriate governance, reviews and escalation mechanisms, given its strategic importance and technical risk.
  • Drive day‑to‑day execution to ensure milestones are met from design freeze through validation, certification, industrialization and launch.
  • Track progress against scope, schedule and budget; manage critical paths and complex technical dependencies.
  • Identify risks early and coordinate mitigations across disciplines, suppliers and partners.
  • Escalate major deviations and trade‑off decisions with clear impact analysis and options.
  • Ensure agreed BCP scope and key features (density targets, supported cooling modes, serviceability, safety, monitoring) are delivered as defined.
  • Manage change requests, assessing impact on performance, timing, cost and risk.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Compliance and Sustainability to ensure prototypes and final BCP racks meet performance, reliability and regulatory requirements for ultra‑high‑density mixed‑technology cooling systems.
What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Thermal/Fluid, Electrical, Industrial, or similar).
  • 7+ years in project or program management of complex hardware product development, ideally including high‑density server/rack systems, cooling systems, or datacenter infrastructure.
  • Proven track record delivering multi‑disciplinary engineering projects (mechanical, thermal/fluid, electrical, controls) on time and on budget.
  • Experience with high‑density racks, liquid cooling systems (immersion and/or DLC), or datacenter infrastructure is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with industrialization, manufacturing and supply chain on sophisticated, high‑value assembled products.
What we offer
  • Attractive compensation package reflecting your expertise and experience.
  • Medical Insurance Plan.
  • 401k Employee volunteer contribution Plan.
  • A great work environment characterized by friendliness, international diversity, flexibility, and a hybrid‑friendly approach.
  • You’ll be part of a fast‑growing scale‑up with a mission to make a positive impact, offering an exciting career evolution.

Our job titles may span more than one job level. The actual base pay is dependent on a number of factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
