Toddler Teacher

Overview

Helps plans and implement the daily curriculum for children age range
18- 30 months
. Supports supervision of the children’s personal care, hygiene, learning activities, and positive guidance. Maintains classroom records and developmental checklists. Ensures that classroom and play areas are clean and safe. Informs parents of children’s progress on a daily basis. Keeps directors informed of pertinent issues regarding staff, children, families, and the program.

• Plan and implement daily curriculum for toddlers aged 18–30 months.
• Oversee and coordinate personal care, hygiene, learning activities, and specialized programs.
• Maintain classroom records and developmental checklists.
• Keep classrooms and play areas clean and safe.
• Communicate progress updates to parents on a daily basis.
• Inform directors promptly of issues related to staff, children, families, and the program.

• Must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience.
• At least 2 years experience
  working in early education.
• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop, and lift/carry children; ability to effectively interact and communicate with children and parents.
• The lead teacher must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.

• Full time
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)

Compensation: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
