Project Cycle Management and Logical Framework—Local Trainer in Washington, D.C.

Accord Worldwide, an international development and training firm, is seeking dynamic and experienced trainers to facilitate a variety of training programs for our client over a year-long contract. The candidate is expected to have experience consulting in the humanitarian industry.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Trainer to deliver high-quality training sessions on the Logical Framework Approach (LFA) and Project Cycle Management (PCM) to diverse groups of professionals in Washington, DC. The trainer will design and facilitate interactive learning experiences that enhance participants’ ability to apply LFA and PCM in real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging in-person and/or online training sessions on LFA and PCM.
  • Develop training materials, case studies, and practical exercises tailored to participant needs.
  • Provide coaching and technical guidance during and after training sessions.
  • Assess participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure training aligns with best practices in adult learning and instructional design.
  • Collaborate with project teams to adapt content for specific organizational contexts.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering training on LFA and PCM in development, humanitarian, or non-profit sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the project cycle, results-based management, and monitoring & evaluation.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt content for participants from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Fluency in English (additional languages an asset).
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with USAID, UN agencies, or other international donors.
  • Familiarity with blended learning approaches and e-learning tools.
  • Strong writing skills for training content and reports.
