Construction Superintendent

We are looking to hire someone for our South Houston Territory ( Pasadena, Alvin, Santa Fe, Lake Jackson, Rosharon, etc).

We are a well-established 65 year old custom home builder seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Building Superintendent to join our team. We cover a large area building within a 100 mile radius of the Conroe area going as far west as Columbus, east to almost Beaumont, north to Centerville, and south to the Alvin area.

As a key member of our construction operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of assigned residential building projects, ensuring they are built on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned home building projects, from pre-construction to completion and handover.
• Develop and implement detailed project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring timely completion of their work and compliance with project specifications.
• Oversee all construction activities, ensuring adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
• Manage project budgets, monitoring costs and identifying potential overruns.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings with homeowners and address any questions or concerns.
  
  Weekly updates to buyers required.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with subcontractors and crew members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 years of experience as a Home Building Superintendent or similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully completing residential construction projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize competing demands.
• Proficient in construction project management software and tools.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Trade Base is a Plus
