Position Summary:We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced Infant Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood development and committed to creating a warm and supportive classroom environment that meets the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities:- Provide responsive, respectful, and nurturing care to infants and toddlers (ages 6wks-12mths)
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about daily routines, progress, and concerns
- Observe and document children’s growth, behavior, and development
- Collaborate with co-teachers and administrative staff to plan curriculum and activities
- Follow all licensing regulations and health and safety standards
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate) certification or willingness to obtain
- At least 2 year of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed child care setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and engage in active play
