Pay Rate: $27-32/hour
Travel: Minimal; travel reimbursed as needed (hotel, mileage, or airfare)
Position OverviewThe Administrative Assistant II provides high-level administrative support to a department or individual. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, along with the ability to manage confidential information and lead administrative processes. The position may also support special projects and mentor or train other administrative staff.
This is a more senior administrative role focused on creating, coordinating, and improving administrative processes
, rather than routine clerical maintenance.
- Provide administrative support including:
- Scheduling and calendar management
- Coordinating meetings, conferences, and travel
- Document preparation, filing, and record keeping
- Answering phones and handling correspondence
- Support special projects involving:
- Recording, compiling, retrieving, analyzing, and reporting information
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Lead or support administrative projects and process improvements
- Train, mentor, and support other administrative staff as needed
- Coordinate supplies and office resources
- Identify issues and recommend solutions with moderate supervision
- Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with email and calendaring systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong customer service mindset
- Preferred:
- Experience supporting leadership or multiple stakeholders
- Experience leading administrative initiatives or mentoring staff
- Comfort working independently with moderate direction
- Travel may be required occasionally; expenses will be reimbursed
- Position can be fully remote or based at the Spring Campus
- Minimal travel expected through mid-2026
