Winfield School District 34 is looking for a positive and encouraging middle school science teacher that will engage students in learning. Winfield School District 34 is a small suburban school district in DuPage County, serving students pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. Students, teachers, and leaders collaborate to provide a personal learning environment that cultivates growth for all members of our school community.

We emphasize connections and relationships throughout our programming.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university
• CADC certification preferred
• Proficient with Macs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices
• Proficient in Google Apps and cloud-based applications
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
• Demonstrated aptitude as a self-starter who works with minimal supervision
• Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
• Effective communication, human relations, and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong orientation toward providing customer service
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school age students

Salary: Salary range for the position is between $51,422 and $71,707 based on education and years of experience
