• Produce end-to-end fiber optic networks and test/ troubleshoot continuity of fiber optic networks.
• Operate testing equipment and resolve common fiber optic network challenges.
• Experience prepping fiber splice enclosures (e.g., Tyco, Comm Scope, Corning).
• Utilize fusion splicer and test equipment (OTDR 1310/1550, DWDM, CWDM, OLTS, Power meter, etc.).
• Apply fiber design knowledge, document review, understanding of light levels, and dB loss.
• Work at outdoor utility construction sites.

• Safety is a daily priority.
• Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
• Ability to diagnose hard problems with a hands-on approach.
• Interest in long-term projects and teamwork.
• 3–5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience.
• Comfort working on a ladder or bucket truck.
• Flexible and available for varied shifts with overtime and rotating on-call shifts.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card (CDL preferred).

MOS Codes: V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, 5699 relate to this position. Compensation of $26–$32 per hour, based on experience.
