Sherpa 6, Inc offers a Network Integrator role on a new DoD effort. As a Network Integrator, you will work closely with customers, vendors, and fellow Sherpas to meet program requirements. You will provide expertise throughout all project phases, including site surveys, NMIBs, IPRs, and installation of hardware, software, information assurance, and full operational capability activities.
Job Details- Job Title: Network Integrator
- Location: Spring Lake, NC
- Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
- Travel: Up to 25%
- Security Clearance: Secret
- Provide comprehensive network integration support to an integrated tactical network.
- Facilitate testing and integration of cutting‑edge technologies fielded to the U.S. Army Warfighter.
- Assist the Network Lead on planning support and integration of mission command, legacy, tactical radio, OTH and cloud systems.
- Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
- Administer Linux and other server systems.
- Devise plans and drive execution of each phase of contract objectives and projects.
- Identify network improvements and innovations with emphasis on configuration management down to the configuration item (CI) levels.
- Perform quality control checks and configuration audits ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of communication systems, tools, and products.
- Communicate system capabilities and functionality to individuals not familiar with the topic.
- Evaluate engineering costs to identify efficiencies.
- Brief senior‑level government stakeholders.
- Conduct analysis, research, design, development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering, and customer/program specifications.
- Serve as a key component of a technical management team consisting of uniformed, government and other contractor personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 10 years of experience.
- CompTIA certifications: A+, Network+, and Security+.
- Military experience with tactical networks.
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot computers, networks, and servers (DNS, DHCP, Web, NTP).
- Experience with systems integration in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with complex systems.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Microsoft certifications: MCSA and MCSE.
- CISCO certifications.
