POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage MES engineering projects across facilities
- Support ongoing facility operations
- Test system configurations and implement MES functionality which leverages Production Ware and WMS
- Convert operational work instruction into systemic route and decision-based process steps which can be guided, controlled and monitored by the MES platform
- Support new product launches and equipment installation
- Interpret part drawings and Bills of Materials to determine build specifications, quality requirements and process failure modes
- Establish MES requirements and protocols for automated tooling to include torque limits and angle monitoring g
- Implement Andon, poke yoke and error proofing solutions and applying APQP methodology for quality assurance
- Provide statistical performance and defect reporting
- Documents all MES configurations and changes to meet PFMEA and PPAP requirements
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent as evidenced by a credentials evaluation
- Four (4) years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience to include two (2) years:
- Utilizing APQP methodology
- Leveraging Production Ware and warehouse management software, CAD software, and PLC programming and industrial control systems, including automated tooling, visions systems and robotics
- Assisting and supporting new product launches and equipment installation
- Integrating and supporting Cleco and Atlas Copco torque tools (wired and wireless) in a MES environment

Intermittent telecommuting permitted
Travel Requirements: Travel to other Comprehensive Logistics locations throughout the United States at least 75% of the time.
