The Silverthorn Animal Clinic is a full-service animal hospital that handles emergency and non-emergency medical, surgical, and dental issues. Our staff has experience with all types of illnesses and treatments. We strive to create a comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm environment for pets, clients, and our team.

The clinic offers specialty care including chiropractic services, holistic services, acupuncture, exotic medicine, reproduction, stem cell/PRP Prolo Therapy, and ultrasound. We have a large facility with a spacious treatment area, separate surgical suite, and three wet tables. Our team consists of one LVT, multiple technicians, assistants, and CSRs, who are fully utilized to ensure days run smoothly and efficiently.

• Provide compassionate care to a variety of companion animals.
• Perform physical exams, interpret diagnostics, and create treatment plans.
• Conduct surgeries and dental procedures.
• Guide clients on preventive care and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

• DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited program.
• Experience with reproductive surgery, including cesarean sections, required.
• Active (or eligible for) Florida veterinary license.
• DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Excellent communication skills.
• A collaborative spirit and a passion for pet wellness.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (with team assistance for anything more).
