A high-acuity medical center in Hudson, FL is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit. This full-time, night-shift position offers exposure to MICU, SICU, and Cardiovascular Surgical Unit (CSU) patient populations. Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including diagnostic results.
- Active Florida RN license (or compact RN license with commitment to obtain Florida license within 60 days).
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience.
- BLS (AHA) required upon hire.
- ACLS (AHA) required within 6 months.
- NIHSS required within 6 months.
- Critical care experience in MICU, SICU, or CSU preferred.
