Overview
Part-Time Patient Registration Coordinator – New Season Treatment Centers
New Season is a national healthcare provider specializing in medication‑assisted treatment for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder. The Clinic Department seeks a detail‑oriented coordinator to manage pre‑registration, appointment scheduling, and patient intake while maintaining accurate registration data.
Essential Functions- Complete pre‑registration for all new clients and schedule appointments, ensuring all demographics, billing, and clinical information is entered promptly and accurately.
- Collect co‑payments and verify patient financial responsibility at the time of service.
- Maintain strong communication with Program Director, physicians, and nursing staff regarding intakes and insurance verification, including obtaining prior authorization as needed.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, checking supplies, ordering inventory, and preserving confidentiality of patient records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1‑year receptionist, cashier, or related experience with at least 1‑year of healthcare office experience.
- Strong customer service background and knowledge of electronic health record systems and medical insurance.
- Basic computer literacy and proficient reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and present information clearly to management and patients.
- Physical strength sufficient for sedentary work and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
Open work area with moderate everyday noise; sitting most of the time; exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
