Job Title:
Civil Engineer (FL State Certified) – Permitting & QC
Location: Florida (onsite with Broward County required)
Employment Type: Contract / Hourly
Job Summary:We are seeking a Florida State–certified Civil Engineer with experience in Broward County, FL permitting processes. The selected candidate will support permit production quality control, training, and bore profile review for telecom infrastructure projects. The engineer will ensure that all designs and bore profiles comply with jurisdictional regulations and AT&T standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform Quality Control (QC) on permit production documents.
- Provide training and guidance on bore profile creation standards and criteria.
- Review and approve bore profiles to ensure compliance with local jurisdiction requirements and AT&T standards.
- Ensure all permit documentation meets Broward County, FL permitting guidelines.
- Work closely with the Colliers team for permit processing and project coordination.
- Provide technical validation and review as a Florida State Certified Civil Engineer.
- Florida State Licensed Civil Engineer (PE license required).
- Proven experience handling Broward County, FL permits.
- Experience in telecom or utility infrastructure permitting preferred.
- Knowledge of bore profile creation and underground utility design.
- Experience with QC review and training of permit production teams.
- Ability to ensure compliance with AT&T engineering standards.
Skills:
- Experience working with telecom construction or fiber projects.
- Familiarity with permitting jurisdictions in Florida.
- Strong technical review and documentation skills.
