Live Better has an exciting opportunity for a Teacher-Director to join our childhood education and development department.
About the positionAs the Teacher-Director and Nominated Supervisor, you are expected to oversee the operations of the service, and to lead, guide and support a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
This position is a permanent part-time position (59hrs/fortnight) that will commence as soon as practicable.
About YouThe successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood or equivalent
- Evidence of Early Childhood Teacher Accreditation with NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority)
- Prior experience in the role of Director of an Early Childhood Centre desirable.
- Proven experience implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards in practice, along with developing and implementing a play-based curriculum.
- Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Current statement of attainment for “Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk” – CHCPRT
