Title: Accounting Supervisor
Location: Spring Hill, FL
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 DOE

• The Accounting Supervisor will oversee and review individual and trust tax returns, including Form 1040 and Form 1041

• Provide guidance and technical review support for tax preparation and compliance matters

• Supervise month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations

• The Accounting Supervisor will ensure general ledger accuracy and financial data integrity across engagements

• Review financial statements and supporting schedules for completeness and accuracy

• Coordinate workloads, deadlines, and deliverables for accounting staff

• Serve as a point of escalation for client accounting and tax-related questions

• The Accounting Supervisor will lead process improvements, documentation, and best practice implementation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Prior experience reviewing tax returns and supervising staff preferred

• Demonstrated experience with individual (1040) and trust (1041) tax returns

• Public accounting or financial services background strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting

• Proven ability to mentor, review work, and manage multiple priorities

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
