Description
INTRODUCTIONThe Spokane Station Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the supervision of aircraft maintenance performed at GEG facility and be responsible for facility and equipment upkeep. Will be responsible for communication between Empire Fleet Managers and GEG Mechanics regarding maintenance activities. This position is also responsible for the development and supervision of maintenance standards, personnel, and equipment required to implement maintenance activities s position is expected to work on the aircraft a minimum of 25% of the week.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise Maintenance personnel in accomplishing maintenance, repairs, scheduled checks, and ground handling of the aircraft.
- Assure parts rooms are kept up to the standards as described in Empire’s manuals.
- Responsible for maintaining facility and ensuring ground equipment is clean, safe, and in good condition.
- Responsible to conduct required facility audits as directed by DOM.
- Ensure that all Maintenance paperwork is accurate, complete, and the required signoffs are properly made.
- Determine that work is properly accomplished and aircraft airworthiness is determined to be in accordance with established Company policy, manufacturer’s manuals, and FAA requirements.
- Work closely with Planning, 121 Fleet Maintenance Manager, and 135 Maintenance Managers to ensure scheduled maintenance is completed on time. Coordinate schedule maintenance with Planning and Technical Records.
- This position is expected to perform work on the aircraft a minimum of 25% of the week.
- Other duties as assigned.
A&P Mechanic with five years of experience with aircraft craft and two years supervisory experience. Must have excellent communications skills, both oral and written, have a valid driver’s license with insurable record through Empire’s policy. Must adhere to the Company’s FAA/DOT required Drug and Alcohol Program.
WORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed primarily in an office environment with travel required. Will be exposed to noise and hazards associated with a hangar. Requires standing, walking, sitting, bending and stooping for extended periods of time. May be required to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires manual dexterity, speaking, seeing and hearing to conduct business.

PAY & BENEFITS- Starting hourly base pay range (DOE): $83,000 to $88,000
