• You will work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment, including cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration.
• You will typically leave from home each morning and work at customer sites with minimal direct supervision.
• You will meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.

• High School Diploma or GED and 4–6 years of electrical/mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive multiple hours daily.
• Willingness to work overtime and on‑call as required.
• Ability to attend industry-leading training at Hobart headquarters in Troy, OH.

• Lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
• Climb to 10 ft with an A‑frame ladder.
• Occasional roof access through ladders greater than 20 ft.
• Extensive walking (3–5 miles/day).
• Extensive driving (5–6 hours/day).
• Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull, and work in tight and confined spaces.
• Operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment and machinery/power tools.

• Office facilities and customer facilities (commercial kitchens).
• Noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet, and dirty conditions may occur.
• Travel required up to 50% of time.

• Normal business hours with occasional/frequent/extended hours.
• Flexibility with schedule to meet critical deadlines.
• Extended hours may include nights and/or weekends.
• Early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends may be scheduled.

The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. The range for this position is $26.10 to $35.40 per hour.
