* Required Qualifications:

*** High School graduation or equivalent; possession of a valid driver’s license; no previous felony convictions; AND two years of police or campus security experience or other related experience
* Ability to work a schedule of rotating shifts throughout the year, which will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with  and departmental driving standards.
* This position has been designated by the department to require a background check, motor vehicle records check, and WSP WATCH.
* Obtain certification in defensive techniques and equipment within six months of initial hire. Periodic re-certification to maintain currency is required.
* Possess current First Aid and AED/CPR certification or obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment.

*** Certification from the Criminal Justice Training Commission.
* Be able to obtain a Law Enforcement Commission; a Spokane Police Department limited commission.
