Position SummaryWe are looking for a service‑oriented and client‑focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team. As a Sales Consultant, the key outcomes you will be responsible for are: delivering exceptional customer service to ensure remarkable client experiences, promoting client loyalty, contributing to salon revenue targets by consistently achieving individual sales expectations, and upholding our 100% Cleanliness Guarantee.
Objectives- Provide outstanding customer service, going above and beyond for each client.
- Drive client retention and loyalty by listening to and learning about clients, addressing them by first name, and making them feel welcomed and valued in every visit.
- Create Wellness Plans for clients by matching them with the appropriate autopay plan and products.
- Meet daily key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Per Client Average, Member Conversion Percentage, and salon sales targets.
- Promote salon services, upcoming events, and retail products to hit targets.
- Maintain salon cleanliness to our 100% Cleanliness Guarantee standards.
- Serve as a contributing member of the sales team in revenue, culture, and brand image.
- Enforce and follow all state and federal regulations around sunbed use and UV exposure.
- Uphold and adhere to Slick Rock Tanning & Spa’s core values.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and understand salon services, clients, procedures, and policies.
- Strong desire to excel in a sales‑driven environment.
- Possesses excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Demonstrates a service‑oriented mindset and the ability to remain calm when resolving client grievances.
- Consistently arrives at work, meetings, and appointments on time and covers responsibilities if absent.
- Delivers high energy and positivity consistently.
- Demonstrates proficient computer skills and a deep understanding of MS Office Suite, Windows, Google Suite, or similar software programs.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities, using time efficiently.
- Inspires trust and works with integrity to uphold organizational values.
- Demonstrates persistence and the ability to overcome obstacles.
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment and supports and explains reasoning for decisions.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service required.
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, or kneeling.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs at a time.

CompensationPay: $16.75‑18 hourly DOE + commission
On‑target earnings: $19.75‑30/hr (includes commission)
