Primary Care Sales Specialist – Hybrid is accountable for implementing the sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal products consistent with Bayer’s compliance standards and all applicable legal requirements for key targeted Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems within an assigned territory. The specialist will pull through access and drive utilization for approved CV products with appropriate patients.

Western Montana (Missoula, Kalispell). Travel up to 40%. Position is residence‑based; candidate must be domiciled within the territory, preferably in Spokane or Coeur d’Alene.
- Build and develop professional relationships with nephrology, endocrinology, primary care, pharmacy staff, and other assigned customers.
- Drive utilization of approved CV products, working closely with Bayer commercial associates to generate pull‑through within local payers and community HCPs.
- Leverage expertise in diabetes, nephrology and CVD, marketplace knowledge, and competitor analysis to anticipate and manage business opportunities.
- Provide input to sales leadership, regional account managers, and other commercial colleagues for strategic and tactical planning.
- Develop and implement effective customer‑specific territory plans.
- Communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
- Prioritize coverage of physician specialists based on opportunity and potential.
- Understand product and customer business needs, adhering to Bayer ethics and compliance.
- Anticipate barriers, propose solutions, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Handle customer objections and exceed expectations.
- Occasionally train peers in the region.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Consistent high performance track record.
- Leadership and ethical compliance mindset.
- Compliance with customer credentialing and safety requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicle.
- Advanced degree.
- 5+ years in industry sales.
- 2+ years promoting cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or nephrology pharmaceuticals.
- Product launch experience.
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Analytical and computer skills.
- Virtual sales experience.
- Strong local HCP relationships.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $12,0974.00 - $. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
