** Position Details:
** The Jim Krueger laboratory is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in a neuroscience sleep research laboratory specifically studying affects of stress and inflammation on sleep. The applicant is expected to perform several duties in the lab, including but not limited to experimental design, data collection, analysis and interpretation, writing manuscripts, presenting in lab meetings, and attending/presenting the lab research at national and international conferences.
This position will be managing the day to day lab as well as leading undergraduate students. We seek applicants with demonstrated scientific independence, mentoring experience, and laboratory management. The successful applicant will have earned a PhD in biology, neuroscience, molecular bioscience or a related field. Fluent written and spoken English is required. The successful applicant will be dedicated, self-motivated, and a good team player.
