Position: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Join Our Team as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Are you a highly skilled Nurse Anesthetist ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic, high-acuity environment? We are seeking dedicated CRNAs to provide exceptional anesthetic care during a busy summer surgical program at Sacred Heart. If you thrive in fast‑paced settings and possess top‑tier trauma experience, this opportunity offers a rewarding challenge where your expertise will directly contribute to patient outcomes.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering specialized anesthesia services in a high‑volume, high‑acuity surgical environment. You will work a minimum of three shifts per week, with shifts lasting 8–12 hours, depending on procedural schedules. Candidates must be available for the entire period from June 1, 2026, to September 4, 2026. Shift scheduling is fixed, with no weekly rotation, and overtime is paid after reaching 40 hours per week.

Flexibility may be required to work at our satellite facility, Holy Family, located approximately 15 minutes from Sacred Heart.

Required Skills
  • Valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
  • Proven trauma anesthesia experience, ideally in high‑volume, high‑acuity settings
  • Strong procedural skills and clinical judgment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working in academic or teaching hospitals
  • Advanced certifications or specialties related to trauma or critical care
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred

Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in trauma or emergency anesthesia
  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications
Other Requirements
  • Willingness to work at the Holy Family satellite facility as needed
  • Ability to commit to the full duration of the assignment
  • Availability for a minimum of three shifts weekly, with shifts scheduled at 8–12 hours
  • Flexibility to work additional hours, with overtime paid after 40 hours per week
  • No guarantee of hours; schedule dependent on procedural needs
