Clinic RN - PEDS GI

Description Overview

The Journey Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment based on individual physical, emotional, spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. This position facilitates care coordination by using the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs via direct and telephonic/telehealth or electronic encounters. This role works in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

The Clinic RN maintains compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and supports clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients. Actions will reflect the organization's core values.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory care setting across the lifespan.
• Coordinate care using the nursing process: assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate care and teaching needs.
• Deliver care via direct, telephonic/telehealth, or electronic encounters; collaborate with the health care team.
• Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients and reflect the organization s core values.

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor s Degree in Nursing
• Upon hire:
  Washington Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 18 months professional nursing experience
