DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – 1.5 Years / First-Time Travelers
Location: Spokane, WA 99208
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12-hour shifts
Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Rapidly triage and manage patients with varying acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based practices
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (state license or compact, as applicable)
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent ER nursing experience
- Ability to work nights and every other weekend
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, and multitasking skills
