Are you a proud supporter of the U.S. Military? HDT Global – Spokane, proud manufacturer of Berg Rigid Wall Shelters, is seeking a skilled, motivated and dedicated individual for our open Painter position.
PREVIOUS HVLP EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING SETTING REQUIRED!!!! As a Federal Contractor, employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and a pre‑employment drug test, including marijuana.

We are hiring a Manufacturing Painter to prepare, prime, and paint fabricated metal parts used in the production of BERG/HDT shelters. This role focuses on liquid spray painting in a manufacturing environment and plays a key role in final product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare fabricated metal parts for painting, including setup and masking
  • Apply liquid coatings to prepared surfaces using approved spray equipment
  • Follow visual and written work instructions to meet quality and finish standards
  • Ensure correct color, coverage, and overall appearance of painted parts
  • Identify and correct minor paint defects such as runs, dry spray, or uneven coverage
  • Clean and maintain paint equipment, tools, and work areas according to standard procedures
  • Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental requirements
  • Communicate quality concerns or issues to supervision promptly
  • Support team operations and assist with other departmental tasks as assigned
  • Uphold company values, safety standards, and quality expectations
Qualifications
  • Experience with liquid spray painting in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)
  • Basic knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparation
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work safely with paints, solvents, and related materials
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work in a production setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write English, use a tape measure and use simple math
