Immediate Hiring — Precaster — $18–$24/hr — Spokane, WA! Job Description
Join our team to assemble metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, and beams, as well as pouring and finishing concrete. Your daily tasks will involve cleaning and preparing molds, pouring concrete, and finishing concrete. Engage in various activities related to the manufacturing of precast and pre‑stressed concrete in an environment where you’ll get hot, sweaty, and dirty.
Responsibilities- Frequently climb and hop in and out of forms that are 5‑6 feet tall and narrow.
- Read and understand the Production Schedule and adhere to time frames.
- Assist with the setup and stripping of concrete forms.
- Assist with filling and leveling of the concrete castings.
- Participate in housekeeping by helping clean the shop.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to climb in and out of 5‑6 ft tall forms that are narrow.
- Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, stretch, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16″.
- Proficiency in hand and power tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- Drama‑free with a good attitude; works well with others.
- Ability to use concrete finishing tools.
- Ability to use heavy equipment such as overhead cranes.
- Some woodworking skills are preferable.
- Welding, maintenance, and quality control skills are a plus.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 – $24.00/hr.
