We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Spokane, Washington.
Purpose of PositionThe Machine Operator is responsible for operating plant equipment as required or directed while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product. This position is a safety sensitive position.
Task and Responsibilities- Sets up and operates production machinery and/or mobile equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Maintains and operates with hand and power tools.
- Performs physical labor requirements.
- Performs regular and basic preventative maintenance checks and tasks.
- Maintains required paperwork and documentation of all work performed on equipment as outlined in the preventative maintenance program.
- Adheres to Nortrak's Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies.

- High School graduate or GED preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly line is an asset.
- Experience in operating machinery and/or mobile equipment.
- Ability to read work orders and blueprints preferred.
- Must be able to work as a team member collaborating with colleagues.
- Basic mathematical calculation experience in adding and subtracting whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and pushing, pulling, or lifting objects for the duration of your required schedule shift.
- Use hands and arms to operate tools, handle materials, and reach for the duration of your required scheduled shift.
- Regularly lift and carry 30–35 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Hearing abilities necessary to perform job tasks safely and effectively.
