Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking a Machinist. This is a direct hire position. All shifts are open.

Spokane, Washington Plant.

Job Description

As a Machinist
, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to ensure the highest quality is provided to customers. You will report to an ISC Production Supervisor and work onsite in Spokane, WA. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure safe and efficient operations, set up and monitor production of products in your area, and participate in the continuous improvement process to address safety, production, and quality improvements.

Shift

Hours:

5:00am – 3:00pm Thursday – Sunday

Salary Range: $25.50 per hour plus shift differential ($1.50 – $7 depending on shift). Actual base salary depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications
• Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues to minimize downtime
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and meet production goals
• Continuously improve machining processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality
