Description:
In this position, the main duty is to perform inventory management with strong attention to detail to verify incoming parts, prepare component kits and packaging products for shipment to customers. If you are experienced in the manufacturing world, and have a keen eye for details, apply now!
Compensation for the Inventory Control Specialist

- $20 – $28 Per Hour DOE
Responsibilities for the Inventory Control Specialist
- Inventory management: accurate counts of items received from manufacturing and issuance of parts, kits, and materials from inventory
- Enter inventory counts and issued materials into Visual manufacturing ERP with precision
- Measure and receive raw material as well as issue and saw to work orders
- Verify specifications for shipment, ensure product is properly packaged for maximum protection during shipment
- Monitor inbound work orders and outbound sales orders; ensure proper flow by date through the shop and to outside vendors
- Understand work order sequence and the differences among finished goods, subparts, and components
- Self‑motivated to stay current on revision changes and inventory requisition demand
- Shift changes may be required as business needs demand
- Comply with all quality requirements while continually maintaining and improving the effectiveness of the quality management system
- Implement daily practices of Lean such as 5S, continuous improvement, and contribute to ongoing process efficiency
- Support and participate in department goals as well as company goals
- Look for opportunities to learn and share your knowledge and skills
- Punctual attendance: at your work area at shift start
- Treat others with respect and maintain a professional attitude
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Inventory Control Specialist
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task
- One year shipping experience the manufacturing industry is required for this position
- Forklift Certification highly preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes is required
- Intermediate computer navigation skills, proficient in MS Office:
Outlook, Word - ERP/MRP Software experience preferred
