Quality Technician 1st Shift

Job Details

Pay range is $23.50 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, Saturday work may be required up to 50% of the time

• Conduct audits and inspections of material at all stages, and of each process while providing feedback
• Communicate audit findings with production team in process and during stand‑up meetings
• Review and analyze audit findings for containment and corrective action follow‑up with the team
• Aid in document control activities – posting documents, follow through with approvers
• Use calipers and other measuring devices to conduct standard testing of finished goods
• Aid in identifying best practices in the manufacturing of windows
• Document non‑conformities and oversee completion of NCR activities
• Validate product conformance when process adjustments are made

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Requires 2–5 years quality/leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to walk/stand for long durations (duration of shift excluding breaks)
• Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color and depth differentiation
• Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation
• Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process
• Frequent exposure to loud noises
• Limited exposure to weather and climate change

Full‑time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.
