Job DescriptionThe Sterility Test Specialist will perform all the duties in the Sterility Testing area as a critical aspect in the manufacture of injectable products.
- Prepare samples, perform sterility tests (preferable), and record results.
- Perform Medical Fill inspections and report progress.
- Perform Sterility Test inspections and report progress.
- Manage component and testing material supplies.
- Initiate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) changes and Validation draft reviews.
- Assist with investigations, as required.
- Receive log and track samples to ensure timely testing; manage and enter data into Sterility Test database.
- Prepare training documentation and paperwork data review.
- Provide leadership and training for Sterility Test Technicians.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- 3 years of aseptic experience required, 5 years preferred.
- Experience must include animal husbandry, clean room gowning practices, and cGMP based documentation skills.
- Must be able to reliably follow written SOP’s and have good computer skills.
- Documentation must be complete and accurate to avoid production release delays.
- Manual Dexterity Required.
- 20/30 Corrected Near-Point Required.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted to transfer media trays, WIP totes, etc Required.
- Working in aseptic areas Required.
Shift: Weekdays, Tuesday-Friday 5:00am-3:30pm
This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
Benefits- Hiring Wage: $30.99 – $41.93 hr., depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant Hollister Stier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role.
