Position Summary

Your role as a Supervisor is to manage a group of Technicians and act as a liaison between management and field personnel by communicating objectives, providing support, managing tasks, and delivering and receiving maps. This role will report to the Field Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor production and quality reporting of all Survey Technicians reporting to the Supervisor and work with Survey Technicians to improve any production or quality issues.
  • Receive and respond to first line of technical support issues for Survey Technicians in the group and elevate to Field Operations Manager and/or Project Manager as needed.
  • First pass QA/QC maps as they are turned in by Survey Technicians in the group.
  • Track and manage distribution and collection of plat maps via Mobile Frame and other tools.
  • Manage new leaks that arise from the group.
  • Utilize web maps to facilitate corrections as needed.
  • Utilize FTP for accessing and uploading files, as necessary.
  • Proactively report any issues observed with Survey Technicians to the Field Operations Manager and Project Manager.
  • Manage inventory of equipment used by Survey Technicians in the group, including cones, signage, logo magnets, first aid kit, dog repellent spray, batteries, highlighters, and more.
  • Ensure all safety requirements, policies, and procedures are followed and enforced, as necessary.
  • Initiate written discipline.
Qualifications

Job

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of gas leak survey experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment.
  • Strong communication and organizational ability.
  • Must be able and willing to walk 5 miles or more per day on various terrain and various weather conditions carrying a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and provide direction to geographically dispersed team.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize a variety of tasks.
  • Proficient in using current technology such as smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Hydromax USA employees, clients, and the public in an articulate, professional manner.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly organized.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience
