Aggregate Plant Maintenance / Cleanup – Whatcom County

WHATYOU’LL DO
- Maintain & Repair Equipment:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on aggregate plants and mobile equipment. - Perform lube oil needs.
- Safety & Compliance:
Work at heights, in confined spaces, and dusty environments using proper PPE including full-face respirators. Follow all company safety protocols. - Operate Machinery:
Safely operate loaders, bulldozer, excavator, forklifts, man-lifts, and related equipment. - Perform tasks with basic hand tools.
- Operate electric and pneumatic power tools.
- Housekeeping:
Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized. - Hard physical labor in any environment and extensive work with a shovel.
- Flexibility:
Available to work occasional overtime, including some Saturdays, and travel between sites.
- Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Communications: be able to listen, follow directions, self-motivated & communicate with co-workers.
- Proficiency/Dexterity: need to work fast and safe while performing task required
- Stamina: need to be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and able to stand or kneel & work in dirty, wet or undesirable conditions for long periods of time.
- Team Player: be reliable and dependable to co-workers
- Valid Class B CDL (Class A preferred), current DOT medical card, and an insurable driving record.
- $29.81 to $39.75 per hour.
