Warehouse Assistant Class A CDL

Overview

Garco Construction, Inc. is an ENR Top 400 general contractor with offices in Spokane and Tacoma, Washington. In addition to self-performing a substantial amount of construction, Garco provides high quality design build services through our in house architect and design department, as well as through strong partnerships with local and national architectural and engineering firms. Garco Construction has a fully staffed warehouse and shop that supports all of our projects, corporate office, fabricators and heavy diesel mechanics.

As a Warehouse Assistant with Class A CDL you will need to be a self-starter, organized, and safety orientated. Some of the key items you will need to do on a daily basis will be:

• Manage flow of deliveries and warehouse materials.
• Load, secure, and deliver equipment, tools, and materials to various project sites.
• Learn procedures and techniques
• Varied warehouse duties depending on support needed on projects, in warehouse, and corporate office.
• Organized and manager various supplies, tools, equipment, and materials
• Cleaning obstacles and hazards within the warehouse
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials with co-worker
• Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work area, using wheelbarrow, broom and shovel, operate forklift or boom/scissor lifts as needed

• Class A CDL with minimum 1 year experience
• Warehouse/Construction Shop experience
• Be comfortable working in all types of weather conditions
• Be comfortable working with various hand and power tools, operating a forklift, pick-up truck, and various flatbed trucks.
• Have safety focused mindset

The salary range for this position is between $25 and $35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
