We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) possessing high leadership skills and who is looking to be challenged in their career to fill our CDM position.

Pay Range: $36-$40 DOE

Responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with dietary staff, administration, and residents/families
  • Must be able to process invoices for accounts payable, expenditure tracking, hiring, orientation, training and evaluating personnel
  • Implement state and federal regulations
  • Meet with Administrator on a regular basis to organize and plan special functions and menu event
  • Communicate with Registered Dietitian (RD) on all menus, food substitutions, diets/diet textures
  • Knowledge and expertise of the IDDSI diets
  • Maintain the order and organization of materials and goods in the department
  • Maintain a detailed cleaning schedule for the kitchen with the duties posted
  • Maintain department budget and necessary paperwork
  • Complete evaluations as necessary
  • Coordinate menu to meet nutritional standards
Additional Duties
  • Attend all IDT meetings as necessary
  • Complete trainings as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Dietary Manager
  • Minimum of one year cooking in retirement/hospitality environment
  • Current Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
