Overview

Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA. The Department-based Respiratory Therapist collaborates with physicians and nurses to plan and implement the patient plan of care. Completion of department and unit-specific orientation is mandatory. This role may involve operating and maintaining complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures, patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy, and other patient care functions as qualified.

• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to plan and implement patient care plans within the Respiratory Therapy department.
• Operate and maintain ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, and perform respiratory care procedures as qualified.
• Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic procedures related to respiratory therapy.
• Complete department orientation and unit-specific orientation as required.
• Assist the physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy.
• May be qualified by training and experience to perform related patient care tasks within scope of practice.

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Hiring bonus: $10,000 for eligible rehires and external candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation assistance can be provided. Pay range: $35.47 - $57.13; base pay range is provided with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
