Sunday/Monday 5:30AM-2PM & Wednesday/Thursday 2PM-10PM
Starting at $17/hour
Spokane Health and Rehab is looking for a reliable and motivated Laundry Aide to join our team. If you take pride in organization, cleanliness, and supporting resident care behind the scenes, we’d love to meet you!
Position Summary
The Laundry Aide plays an important role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents by ensuring all laundry items—such as linens, clothing, and bedding—are cleaned, handled, and delivered properly. This position supports daily facility operations and helps uphold our quality of care.
Responsibilities- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
- Operate commercial laundry equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Label and track resident laundry and return items to the appropriate location
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow all infection control, safety, and cleaning protocols
- Assist with stocking supplies and monitoring inventory
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare experience a plus)
- Ability to bend, lift up to 30 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team setting
- Respectful and committed to maintaining resident privacy and dignity
- $17/hour starting pay
