The Associate Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of care recipients and caregivers-in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve.

Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training and 2 clinical pastoral education units.
- Coursework/Training and Graduate studies 32-48 credit hours in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, or the equivalent applicable education from an accredited institution.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Within 3 years of hire:
National Chaplain Certification
- Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies similarly accepted in chaplaincy board certifying organizations.
- 1 year of ministry in a medical setting
