Providence Surgery and Procedure Center is seeking a motivated Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech to join our team.

Job Summary
:
The Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center and participates in quality improvement activities. Experience in the following specialties is a plus:
Colorectal, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Urology, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Sports Medicine.

Work Schedule
:
Monday-Friday; NO nights, NO weekends, NO holidays; NO call required.

Pay Range
: $24–$35/hour depending on experience.

Required Skills
:

• High School diploma or GED
• Completion of a Surgical Tech program.
• Current State of Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
• 2+ years of Surgical Tech experience.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
