Description Associate Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA

Schedule Details: Monday through Friday with occasional weekends, Evening Shift, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Responsibilities

Under the direction and supervision of Sterile Processing Supervisor and/or the Department Manager, the Associate Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the following:

  • Assemble clean instruments into specialized sets
  • Package or wrap instruments for sterilization
  • Maintain an inventory of sterile supplies on core carts
  • Rotate in all specialty stations, including Decontam and Sterilizers
  • Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments after surgery cases are completed
  • Use the tools provided to complete all tasks, including utilizing the SPM system or manual system

Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a health care setting, or dealing with the public

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
