* Licensed Mental Health Therapist (WISe Program)
Excelsior Wellness Center is more than just a place for treatment; we are a community dedicated to helping individuals and families find their path to wellness. We believe in the potential of every child and family to live safer, stronger, and more fulfilled lives.
We are currently seeking a passionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) program-a dynamic, community-based model designed to provide personalized support to youth and families. WISe is committed to helping Medicaid-eligible individuals aged 20 or younger, along with their families, manage complex emotional and mental health needs within their homes and communities.
What You'll Do:
As a WISe therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering direct clinical care, working closely with youth and their families to reduce the impact of mental health symptoms, enhance resilience, and guide them on their journey toward recovery. Your work will help ensure the safety of youth, promote their engagement in school, and support their overall mental wellness. This includes:
- Crafting individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Conducting skill-building sessions, family therapy, and crisis intervention, including on-call crisis rotation.
- Collaborating with community resources to provide a comprehensive support network.
- Contributing to ongoing program evaluation, staff training, and quality improvement efforts.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure families have access to crisis services 24/7. This may include phone support and in-person response.
- A Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Licensure through the Washington State Department of Health as an LMHC, LMHCA, LICSW, LICSWA, LMFT, or LMFTA.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Practical experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a deep understanding of diverse service delivery models.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for making a difference in the lives of youth with serious mental health diagnoses.
- Impactful Work:
You'll be directly improving the lives of adolescents, supporting them in overcoming challenges and thriving in their communities. - Growth Opportunities:
We're committed to your professional development, offering continuous learning and the chance to expand your expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment. - Team-Oriented Culture:
Join a team that values collaboration, where everyone works together to provide the highest quality care to youth and families. - Comprehensive Benefits:
Enjoy a range of benefits, including retirement with employer match, employer-paid life insurance, generous PTO, 11 paid holidays, professional development opportunities, and more.
