The Mental Health Counselor (MHC) functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide direct care for selected patients. S/he is expected to demonstrate a basic understanding of contemporary psychosocial principles in relation to his/her area of responsibility while implementing the delegated tasks of the Multidisciplinary Treatment Plan of Care. Following orientation and defined training programs, satisfactorily performs skills as defined by departmental policy and orientation procedure.
Implements selected unit and patient care activities in collaboration with other team members.

Shift Details:
- Part time, 20 hours per week, 8 - hour Evening Shift
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and Psychology or Education requirement may be waived in the case of an applicant demonstrating exceptional relevant clinical experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
