Description
The EMS Instructor is responsible for assessing, planning, implementation, instruction, and evaluation of educational activities for Providence Health Training focusing on pre-hospital and hospital courses. Provides community health education services through presentations, class instruction, information distribution, and working with various organizations. The EMS Instructor must consistently demonstrate professional performance, and reflect the key moral commitments, ethical principles, values and philosophy of the department and INHS as set forward in the mission statement.

Required Qualifications- Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Bachelor's Degree in Community Health, Health Promotion, Health Education, Public Health, or a closely related field.

Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon hire:
Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association - Upon hire:
Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association - Upon hire:
Washington State EMS Evaluator - Upon hire: EMT-P certification

Willing to obtain/maintain PALS Instructor certification. - 3 years Field experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
