We are hiring immediately for an on-call PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) position.

Pay Range: $18.50 per hour to $19.00 per hour.

• Patient Dining Associate work on assigned units to assist patients with menu selections, assemble, deliver, and pick up meal trays. Ensure meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature, supporting patient safety and satisfaction goals.
• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure compliance with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and dietary preferences; address patient inquiries about additional selections.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals according to each patient’s menu, and retrieve trays from patient rooms at scheduled times.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies, including HIPAA; uphold confidentiality and patient rights.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food, cleaning work stations, and breaking down the tray line; follow facility infection control procedures.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets or calorie counts as required.
• Communicate problems or concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner; complete required reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Adhere to sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver/push food delivery carts.
